About the Artist
With roots from the rural Ranchos in Guanajuato, Mexico the artist found himself transplanted to the suburbs of California at the age of four. In a new country with a foreign language communication was hard. Art as it turns out is an age old universal language and one useful to bridge the two worlds. Today the art produced by the Professional Slacker Studios is in part inspired by the blending of the two worlds and cultures.
Drawing on walls was always a hobby. In 2009, the future muralist started drawing in charcoal on the walls of his parents' house. Fifteen years later, it has become a career path, mostly painting murals for places of learning and education. The artist also offers private in-home murals for those looking to add a touch of flair to their living/entertainment rooms, home gyms, and offices.

Subscribe to the Slacker in Plein Air YouTube channel and join the Professional Slacker on backpacking trips across the United States of America to retrieve watercolor samples of flora, fauna, and landscapes.
